Hate to derail the thread but I did have a 08 Si for about 10 months I think. Best shifting transmission ever.

It was pretty good lol. I had the 2nd gear lock out/grind in mine. Nothing I did ever fixed it. I replaced every supporting part of the trans, cmc twice, slave cylinder, clutch line, changed the fluids, did solid bushings, and an adjustable short shifter. It felt great after all of this but never fixed the 2nd gear grind which I knew was probably a shitty synchro from factory. The motor was absolutely awesome on the other hand. I actually think the S2000 has hands down the greatest transmission my hand has ever touched. I was really debating getting an AP2. Getting back to the GT, I actually really like the s550's transmission. Unlike everyone else, I have not had a single problem. I can no lift shift perfectly fine lol.(done it a handful of times but I don't want to press my luck) I did take notice to the thud in the back and the slight notchiness in the shifts at lower rpms especially when cold(this seemed to get much better after changing to amsoil), but its better than previous models I have driven and I am sure just a short shifter in mine will make it perfect. Sorry to those that have grinding :(

Speculation of the lower headlights would mean that none of the front end fits up correctly. But if the headlights are not lowered on the GT350, than I would predict we can have a field day and all this stuff will attach to our cars. I want the front bumper and fenders and fender liners if they fit. Hood maybe, doesnt matter as much to me though.

I am not sure if there is any evidence or reason to believe they lowered the headlights on this car though.
I think it would also implicate a lower crash beam etc.?

Would be very cool if it was a bolt on fit. :D

I wonder how an oem hood price would compare to an aftermarket hood ($1500ish aftermarket ??)
I really like the design of the GT350 hood. I've been looking for a carbon hood as I feel our hoods are heavy as s***!
