gt350 factory exhaust

I have sourced a new take off gt350 cat back and was wondering if anyone has done this yet and made the muffler bypass valve work and if so how. so far what it looks like is that the connection at the mid pipe is obviously larger and will require a gt350 rear valance.

Someone on facebook put the stock 350 catback exhaust onto his GT with the 350 valence.

Sounded good (he had headers too so obviously much louder) but I can't imagine it was anything less than a few thousand dollar job with the valence and getting it all to fit (tubing size and hangers); and then controlling the valves somehow since only the 350 has the wiring for them.

In that case the Ford Racing kit for $2k with the catback and valence may be the cheaper route honestly for a very similar sound.
