So I guess my car is on the map. Just found out today it's being delivered Dec. 12. Ford can't give me a VIN and the dealer hasn't replied. He's been remarkably unhelpful with information about my build. Ordered from Heritage in Modesto CA.

Ping Deysha here on the forums. She can look up your info with your order number, dealer number, and your name. They get a LOT of requests so it can take a little while, but she is really helpful.

That's what I'd like to know. She told me she couldn't give me the VIN for security reasons and suggested I ask the dealer for it, which I did...and he ignores me. I'll try PMing Deysha.

Your dealer/salesperson should be able to give you a VIN. If they can't, or are unwilling, I'd be very suspicious. Especially for a car that's supposed to be built in a few weeks.

Being suspicious is always in my nature, but I wouldn't be too suspicious here. My dealer wouldn't give me my VIN or even my order number when I ordered in early Sept. Then last week he sends me an email with my VIN attached to my window sticker.

I figured he must have been super busy with the month long labor day and veterans day sales?? :ford:

Got my order confirmation today. Was ordered 9/22, notified 11/23, for a build date of 1/6/2016.
