^ Sure there are/were problems with that unit.... but that isn't representative of all C7's out there. Heck blown engines isn't even endemic or pandemic therefore IMO it's unfair to stereotype and plug verdicts. Anyway, same debates can be made for other manufacturers with quality issues whether small or large. Porsche's GT3 engines as one example... and I'll gladly take a 991 GT3 anytime.

Have you had to do any mods to your Z06 to stop it from overheating? We had problems with two different ones (standard and one with z07) at Road Atlanta and Barber. Last time I was there one of the guys said there were 5 mods that can be done in order to circumvent the issue.

Unfortunately it was only a phone conversation, but thanks for the heads up. I will definitely keep that in mind if they try and jack up the price when I get there.
It's Monday and I hope you got that GT 350 for MSRP.

Hey guys sorry yea I was there late last night.

They did want ADM, and wanted 15k over. After lots of back and forth I got them down to 7500k over but walked out. According to them it would be March before this car would be delivered. I could probably be ok with 5k ADM, but not if I have to wait 4-5 months. Id rather pay 10k for I car I can have today.

I'll let them contemplate selling to me at MSRP, hopefully if they don't get someone soon they will be willing to do it. Regardless, I'm not sure I want to wait that long anyway.

The product manager said he could mark it up more but doesn't feel right doing it, and his sales managers want him to mark it up more. And that the only reason he does it is to keep the car out of the hands of resellers who will buy it and mark it up or ship it overseas. So he can sell it to true enthusiasts. Bull$hit. I'm 30 and married, I think you can see I'm not going to resell this overseas.

Oh well, I'm not in a huge rush, was just hoping to take advantage of an opportunity. I will bide my time until the right deal comes along.

^Good discipline on your part... 15K over is too much and IMHO even 7500-10k over is pushing it for a 2016 non-R. There will be more/other GT350s popping up...

NCGT350.... Sorry to read about your experience @ the dealership. A good salesperson would know the price the dealer wants on a 350. Oh yeah come on in we can sell @ MSRP.
Total BS and us buyers have to learn the hard way. But over time we can spot the BS and not waste are time with these sleaze balls. There are good salespeople out there just takes experience to weed them out.
The dealership should jump @ getting you as a customer and futures sales. But the reality is the manager only cares about sales today because he might not be there without them. He's not thinking about you as a future customer.
