I know, I know. A TB isn't really much of a gain. I don't have much left to do performance/engine wise. I've read a little about people doing this in the past. I'm curious about using a GT take off of the 80mm TB over the 73mm BBK. 7mm is a pretty big difference, but it looks like people have done it on the last gen. It'd be bigger and cheaper than the BBK.

It is but you need an adapter plate machined as the bolt holes do not line up. Youd need a gasket too from the gt. Cant find them online at the moment. I bought the 73mm bbk. Less hassle.

Wow, i never even thought of this....would not be hard to fab a adapter plate....but, you can only port the whole in the upper intake so big, i think 75mm would be about as big as you could get it. I think for all the effort it would take, just get a bbk 73...or contact tb built on fb....they do bored stock tb's for 150 bucks, 72.5mm

That sounds good. I think I am going to do the same.

Any more info on this? $150 is a lot better deal than $430. Is there a link to a website or way to contact him for those of us who do not use fb?
