GT Grill on V6 How To

Anyone have a how to for putting GT grill in V6?

i know i rip the whole thing apart but is this all i need? or do i need the whole from bumper?

It will fit.
It'll snap right on.

Make sure you dont break the bumper/fender tabs .

Might want to look into the Velossatech Big Mouth intake. I put one on my V6 and it does help with lowering intake air temps, and freeway acceleration is noticeably better. Since you'll be taking your bumper cover and grill out, now would be the time to think about getting this upgrade.

I'll also stress the importance of making sure you don't break any of the bumper cover tabs. I did the swap by myself, and little did I know I caught the center tab on the drivers side bumper cover on something, and cracked the plastic. I still have 2 of the 3 tabs holding it on, so I'm not worried, but if I could turn back time I would know better.

I just did it this afternoon, and with a velossatech big mouth. Opening up the GT grill for the big mouth took me one hour to get a nice clean cut. Then for the bumper removal, replacing the grill, and installing everything back took me 2.5 hours. I found a generic instruction manual for grill installation on AM, which was very helpful. The most tricky part was the two bolts behind the headlights. I highly recommend taking off the front wheels for more space. Taking off the stock grill was also quite a bit annoying. So plan sufficient time and just be patient. The actual installation time for the big mouth was literally 30s though.

Love the GT grill, did you do the lower one too? Not sure what the V6 lower grill looked like but the ACC lower grill is pretty bad.

No. That would have a bit too many fangs to my personal taste.
Before you start, make sure how many grills you want to do. It wasn't an easy process to take off the bumper, and the plastic push rivets feel like they are supposed to be one-time usage. Those plastic rivets are easy to break when being taken off, and a few of them were not so tight as before after being installed back.
