Grinding noise from rear wheel

Pulled out of the driveway this morning and made it 30 feet before I noticed a grinding sound coming from the rear wheel on the passenger side. Visually, nothing was out of place. I got back to the driveway and took another look, and everything looked normal. Luckily I have a truck to drive to work.

It sounds like either a bad wheel bearing or locked up caliper. Anyone experienced this? Common issue maybe?

I will say, after I got to work and was thinking about it, it dawned on me that I may have not got the e-brake all the way down. Sometimes I do that. Does it grip on that particular wheel? If it's a click or two up, does it make that sound?

I've taken off with the e-brke up a time or two in my life but have never gone more than maybe 10ft before I realized it.

For the record, I bought this car new a month ago and have 2,100 miles.

If the e-brake is up a click or two, you should get a warning on the dash that the parking brake is on. Make sure the e-brake is all the way off and see if the noise is still there.

No dice. Checked when i got home. Grinding like a mofo. Roadside assistance arranged a tow to the dealer tomorrow. :(

someone at work suggested this might be a rock behind the rotor. I drive over a lot of gravel and this car kicks it up like no other i've owned. I called the service guy and he's gonna check for it.
