I did a fair bit of research into this yesterday after having a similar experience in the wet last weekend. From what I could find the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ seems to be quite a highly recommended tyre for both wet and dry conditions.

Personally I'm not going to change the tires out as this isn't my DD, but I can definitely see why anyone that does daily drive it would change them straight away.
