I installed the diode dynamic LED lights, and managed to break the glovebox light capsule. Would I be able to just cut it off and wire nut the wires? It blows my fuses every day and I am tired of trying to fix it.

So you getting blown fuses because of the broken capsule or because possible wrong being used?
The broken capsule, I got snapped off one of the connectors when I was installing the new bulb and it doesn’t work anymore. That’s my best guess as to what is blowing the fuse.

B4 cutting, see if you can trace the wire(s) to a connector then unplug. If cutting is last resort, make sure to give yourself enough slack to re-attach the wires later.

It's a real b*tch to reinstall that damn thing again. I could remove the stock bulb without having to remove the capsule. But the issue arose when I pushed in the new LED. Turns out the stupid capsule is not designed correctly, so you can push the LED bulb beyond where it makes contact, where it's flush with the opening, so it's impossible to remove without removing the capsule. So those who haven't installed an LED yet, once you remove the stock bulb with needle-nose pliers wrapped in duct tape (which is less slippery than masking tape), carefully push in the new LED bulb until it lights up, and then maybe a few millimeters more where it feels solid... but DO NOT push it all the way in until it stops (like you normally do), or you'd suffer the same fate I did. Ha ha. I managed not to damage the damn capsule, but sweated for hours (in episodes) until could finally lodged the damn thing in place.

To the OP, just order a new capsule if you can't fix it. And if you damaged the harness, then you'd have to fix that too. But I don't understand how you managed to damage the harness. What did you do? Just curious. Ha ha. Good luck.
