Giving the engine bay some color

Hey guys!

I was hoping to get some input. I was wanting to give me engine bay some accents and a pop of color. Is it absolutely necessary to use a high-temp paint? I was thinking about buying a color match spray can, but was worried to start painting in there if it wasn't high-temp rated. Will I be okay to go with that option or do I need that special paint?

Ford BlueVHT Engine paint and covered with VHT clear engine paint. This is a simple mod and if you use your imagination you could do a lot more.

You do not need hi temp paint ..but a good hi temp primer is definitely a good idea.

I used auto body paint, no issues with heat...base primer, color, clear coat.
