Has anyone seen or become aware of Ford Dealers that have what are called "Ghost Stripes" - very subtle matte black over-the-top stripes that almost disappear in some lighting situations? Which dealers have these?

Thanks Chris. Yes. I have seen some pictures and I knew they were on the 2016. Question is - can a dealer service department install them on my 2015? Car is fundamentally the same after all. I believe it should work. I guess I was looking for confirmation or a recommendation from someone who has seen it or done it.

I'm sure any dealer would....for a price.

Since the option was almost $500, I can only imagine what the stripes will cost at the parts counter. I'd like to have them myself....

$500! Outrageous! Forget it. This is a $20 piece of vinyl! I might possibly go as high as for $75, but it would be a stretch. I will wait to see what Big Worm comes out with, but I have lost my taste for this cosmetic add-on.

Unfortunately, we will not be making a stripe kit like that. Those stripes have a fade in them which takes a rather expensive machine to make right (over $80,000). The material we use has the color in the material before we get it, which is more durable long term than printed stripes. Our machine only cuts, no printing. You can have a ghost or subtle look by using a similar color to your car color, matte black on black or silver on white thou if you are not interested in the fade.
