Forget what the internet says about TW to the max. There may be room for improvement but I don't know where.

I just downloaded an app for the iphone from ZG Screening Eagle Technologies....Glossmeter Live.
but i think it requires the receiver and that interfaces with the app. Thought it used the iphone camera but probably not precise enough for an accurate reading.

I found the M&A Instruments GM-268 to be adequate. It works on aluminum and ferrous, but not fiberglass or carbon fiber. It doesn't cost $$ thousands though.

thanks....saw GM-268 on Amazon for $288....not too bad a price. Some are less but you get what you pay for. I was correct on the app. It was only an app to wireless connect with the ZG transducer....sold separately for $$$$$.
