Dropped it off this morning to get Formula One Pinnacle 30% on everything but the windshield. I drive too much to not keep stuff like that legal...

Awesome! THE first thing I do to a car (besides putting gas in it, lol) is tint the windows. Wish you could go darker, but I understand the risk. Some places aren't as picky (cops) as others. I'm going with 17 or 20%. Probably 20, since 32 is legal here. I know it's risky, but I was talked in to legal tint with my current car and have regretted it since.
Although, I'm sure Flossy (my soon to be new car) will get more attention, lol.

Our legal limit is 24% for the side windows, but the factory glass apparently have a couple of % stock tint to them. Putting 30 on probably gives me an effective 27 or 28.

I wouldn't worry about it so much if I didn't have to go across the river to Portland fairly frequently - and they are seriously picky over there.

I didn't realize that AL had any limits. I used to live in the Mobile area a million years ago and people would tint them nearly opaque. I knew one kid that put 3 layers of "double dark smoke" on his side windows, and had to roll them down to turn a corner.

Ours is 32% also. But I'm in good with my MD, so im going to talk him into a letter discussing my "vision issues"! The tint shop is pushing 20% for a better look, and I'm in agreement.
