We are using the sensors that monitor fuel quality to take advantage of the different fueling.

We have dyno results I am just waiting on the media dept to get in and get me the graphs to post! I was outside of the tuners office like this :paddle: this morning waiting for the OK to post this!

Where the updated Dyno results finalized by the media department yet? I am interested in seeing the difference between 93 e85 base tunes.

thank you

Any results or dyno graphs yet?
Here you go guys, sorry for the wait!

As you can see the additional octane from E85 irons out a small wrinkle in a normal 93 tune. Not that there are any rough spots, but if you look at the top of the RPM band there is like a 1-2whp bump that is far deadened in the E85 tune. There are also a couple plateaus in the 93 tune where the E85 tune is able to create power in its place. So it is not just the additional power that you guys should zero in on, but it is the places where the tune will add capabilities! This will take valuable ticks off of your passes as well as add some joy to your DD!

Livernois Motorsports - The dyno chart is that for an otherwise stock car or are there normal Intake, exhaust mods done? Sorry for the questions just trying to get a clear idea of the gains.

You got it! BTW if you add an "@" before a member's name it tags them ;-)

Thank you. Looking like this might have to happen in the Spring. Have e85 really close and the option to not have to worry about which fuel I put in on any given day is amazing. As there are only a couple of places around me to get e85 so it isn't always an option.

Thanks for posting the graph! So that car was stock with just tuning? You wouldn't happen to have a dyno of the same car totally stock, would you?

I had no idea that there were fuel quality sensors already in the S550. What was Ford's original use intention for these sensors?

They are used on the f150s. Our tables arent enabled. Only difference from my understanding. livernois is closer with ford then most maybe they showed them a way to make them active.

Are you wanting to take advantage of the power benefits of E85, but don’t want the hassle of swapping tunes back and forth every time you fill up? You got it! If you want to fill back up with premium and not have to swap tunes back again, you got it!
So how does this work if the tank is filled with half straight gas and half E85? These "fuel quality sensors" you mentioned ... do they somehow determine the mix and the tune can adjust to a mixed blend of gasoline and E85?
