I would like to first state I am a mechanic but my 2017 mustang is the first coyote motor I have dove into.. I upgraded my oil pump gears and crank sprocket to billet .. Installed mmr billet guide and tensioners .. after vehicle was back together ran it and noted a chirping noise from the passenger side timing cover area.. I removed the cover and noted the passenger side tensioner collapsed and the chain slacked on the fix rail side .. figured I got some bad tensioners so I threw in my stock tensioners and noted chipping noise still present from same location.. removed the cover for a 3rd time and put all stock guides back in and installed the boss 302 tensioners with the ratchet locks and noted still has chirp noise when cold.. verified oil pressure good with manual gauge verified oil getting to tensioner any one ever ran into this before ??
