So my '15 mustang locks out gears when its cold, first second and third are stiff, other gears sometimes work but overall the car doesn't want to shift when cold. Once warm its all good, the car shifts perfect and the clutch doesn't slip either. Could this be a clutch/flywheel issue? Maybe slave? or trans fluid? hopefully not internal
The previous owner replaced the clutch with aftermarket (not sure what brand but its touchy as a mofo) I think the clutch just isn't disengaging when cold, time for a new one?
If so anyone got good recommendations for a daily clutch, it doesn't have to hold much power, not planning on many mods, maybe headers and a tune in a year or 2, money is tight too so keep it reasonable please
