Hi guys,

I've recently started noticing something strange. When I get in the car for the first time on a cold(ish) day, the clutch pedal sits lower than usual and its travel is shorter. However, it still works normally. I mean, it disengages the clutch completely when it's fully down (no trouble whatsoever changing gears at any speed or rpm), and the clutch appears to be completely engaged when it's up (i.e. the car accelerates normally, there are no symptoms at all of any amount of slip). This goes on just for a couple of minutes, until the car warms up a bit, after which everything turns back to normal and stays like that for the rest of the day.
This looks like an indication that something is going to break soon. But what? Master cylinder? Slave cylinder? Anything else? What should I brace myself for?

Thank you.
