So I'm not at all disappointed about all the stares I get in my new GT (there aren't many on the road here yet), but I have noticed I do get annoyed at the gawkers that slow down to look at your car, blocking your exit or turn when you have somewhere to go lol. Just like people that rubberneck around car accidents. Keep it moving people!

I'm used to it from walking around with my girlfriend who is WAY too hot for me... LOL. The slightly more annoying part is everytime i park and get out of my car, someone wants to ask me questions about it lol...

Had a few people staring while at lights next to them the first few days, had a guy almost run a red light while staring. He slammed on his brakes about half way through when he realized what he was doing lol.

Oh yeah, there's that too. Out of 8 work days owning the car, I've come back in from lunch late at least 3 times because of this.

When not among clusters, I like turning on the cruise and relaxing in the fast lane when traffic is sparse and the few cars and trucks I encounter tend to be slow; but I dislike when someone really speeds up and rudely tailgates me. I will move over at my first opportunity, per etiquette, if anyone wants to pass; you don't have to be an impatient jerk. Then what do they do once I move? Either pass me - but many times they just back off (are you kidding me?!); though this car's rear end alone is rather striking ;) )

Teens crack me up, though. I went to a fast food drive-thru recently. While waiting in line this kid was staring while slowly returning from emptying cans of trash into the dumpster. Finally I got to the window. As the girl was handing back my debit card, a kid (not sure if it was Dumpster Boy) practically shoves her aside and grins, "Nice car! The five-oh.". The window closes and I hear a boy's muffled loud voice: "Cory. Cory. CORY! CORY, C'MERE!"
The girl comes back with the food, rolls her eyes and sighs, "They are arguing over your car." :p:D

I stopped in the other day to grab a pizza and the delivery guy was on his way out, I was shocked he spent so much time asking me questions!
I do get a lot of nods from other mustang owners. I rolled past a black '14 Friday that had his window down, I kicked the gas down a bit as I passed! When I looked back the guy had a big smile. At the light we exchanged a few comments... It's just cool, the wife does not get it.

I admit I don't look at the people next to me that much, but I did catch someone behind me in a blue car taking a picture the other day while we were sitting at a red light during rush hour. At the next light I saw arms waving around out of the corner of my eye and recognized it was the driver of the same blue car now right next to me. She gestured I roll down the window and said that the car is beautiful, asked if it is the 2015, and she loves the taillights. After I said Thanks, she said it really is a great-looking car, and I look great in it.
(I have lots of help. :ford:)

... the wife does not get it.
I am a wife. I didn't "get it" before, but now I do.
The husband, who is very tall and finds driving it a bit uncomfortable (and who rarely drives anyway), is thoroughly enjoying hearing of my adventures. :D

Awesome! I am 6'-1 and find there is still room to spare. Enjoy

I have to say that my experience has largely been the opposite. I have gotten a few thumbs up, and a couple people wanting to "play" a little, but that's it. My biggest surprise has been other Mustang owners. Any time I see a Mustang I will try (safely) to get next to them just to give them a wave or a nod to kinda say "hey Mustang person, I'm a Mustang person too". 99% of the time there is no reaction at all. The worst is other S550 owners. I always try extra hard to get next to them. Of the 8 or so that I've actually been next to, 1 has even acknowledged my existence. I am always on the lookout and can usually spot a Mustang a mile away. But, nobody else ever seems to be as excited as I am to spot another Mustang. I've seen something posted on here about the difference between Mustang owners vs Mustang Enthusiasts. I guess that's the difference.

The most annoying thing for me is going through the front gate at the base I'm stationed at. Every time I go through, the Airman checking ID's wants to chit chat for a second or two about the car. It wouldn't be a big deal if I wasn't heading to work.

I know I'll catch hate for saying this, but I'm ready for thousands of these things to start hitting the streets.
