www.gapinsurance.co.ukWhat company was that with mate? Did you check their small print about glasses guide and also check your own insurance did not already cover this for the first year?
Exclusions point a) .........Vehicles not listed in Glass’swww.gapinsurance.co.uk
If your insurance covers you for the first year you are allowed to defer the start of the GAP insurance for one year.
T&C's says
"Pays the difference between your Motor Insurance payout and THE GREATER OF either:
A) The amount (if any) outstanding on finance at the time of claim, OR
B) The ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE that you paid for your vehicle first time around, OR
If your vehicle is leased (Contract Hire), it pays the difference between your Motor Insurance payout and the Early Termination Charge (settlement figure) required by the Lease Company."
Seems fairly simple to me, no mention of Glasses guide that I can see?
It's already in the Glass's guide matey, My gap insurance company confirmed that when they took the policy outExclusions point a) .........Vehicles not listed in Glass’s
Guide, kit cars, invalid carriages, Vehicles used solely for delivery or courier purposes and commercial vehicles
of more than 3500kg gross weight. All American, Australian and Canadian vehicles (unless built for the UK
market)....
I'm sure the Mustang will appear in Glass's Guide soon but until then it looks like GAP insurance will have to wait.
Hate to tell you this mate but it's not in the glasses guide. You can check it here for yourself http://www.glass.co.uk/valuations/ and see it's not in the list. Also confirmed by a friend it's not in there who works every day with this guide. It's already in the Glass's guide matey, My gap insurance company confirmed that when they took the policy out
