Hi all, took a look under the car today and spotted that my Steeda G-Trac brace is bent on the front passenger side arm! Now I've heard of this happen ok zBraces over a long period of time but I've only had it fitted for 2 months (2,300 miles) with road use only. Can't say I'm too impressed at this point.

Has anyone else had an issue?

The bend is subtle, a slight curvature but obvious compared to the other leg. I'm going to guess it's braving capabilities are seriously diminished now? A shame considering the difference was noticeable when a first installed it.

I'll get some photos as soon as I get a chance to get the car in the ramp.

Mine had a real hard life being on a lowered car and took a fair few wacks but it never bent.

Ask them for the two point brace in exchange it's better on lowered cars and fits easier.

Mine didn't bend, but horribly scraped. Replaced it with the BMR brace.

I'm going to contact them tomorrow morning, problem is I won't be able to get it on to the ramp for a few days.

The car isn't lowered and hasn't had any other suspensions wizardry done to it.

Daitron, when you say scraped, I'm guessing you mean you bottomed it out a few times right?

Point taken on the 2 point brace Gibbo, I'm sure sometime next year I'll have it sitting lower to the floor!

Yep. The G-trac was the lowest point on my car. With Sportlines the height between the brace and the ground was less than the height of a GoPro. I know because I drove over one and it knocked over. The BMR brace is a much better design on top of the K-member.
