They get you to use your credit card info to buy your "vehicle report".What’s the scam here via that website?
I’m not questioning that this was a scammer, it definitely was, I’m just not familiar with this one. I know about the paypal ones. That website gets hit as “likely scam” via scam-checking websites.
Jeezes, if someone was demanding I use a report from some random website and that website charged money, I’d just give the person the VIN and tell them to buy whatever VIN history they want :lol:They get you to use your credit card info to buy your "vehicle report".
They pulled the exact same stunt with me when selling my last car. They call and use a recording of an fluent English speaker who says "Is your car still for sale?" and then hang up and text you because they don't speak good English.
