Full length header hardware

About to purchase some stainless power long tube headers for 2020 Mustang GT and noticed it doesn’t come with new hardware. Should I just use the factory hardware when bolting them on or upgrade to new? I'd honestly prefer new but can't find any on the website I'm ordering the headers from. Does anyone have any recommendations on the new hardware and where can I purchase them? Thanks in advance!

Try reaching out to Ultimate Headers. They supplied hardware with my headers and I used every single bolt. Maybe you can purchase a set from them or at least ask them for the length and thread pitch for their header flange bolts.

Some people use a few of the factory studs to install headers, but I found it much easier to remove all factory studs, chase the holes with a thread chaser, clean them out with brake and parts cleaner and use the new hardware.

I just installed some header and I reused all factory hardware. There was a set with them but bolts only but I prefer the stud/nut for simplicity of one breaks and I have to remove it.

I reused 15 of the 16 factory studs on mine, I had to put 1 bolt in. And yes the stainless power does come with bolts, they just don't say it in the description. At least mine did and I just bought them about 6 months ago.

Well I've done the install twice, first time on my 17, and again on my 23. Since you have a 20, then you have a gen 3 engine with the plastic oil pan, so I don't recommend supporting the engine from the pan, get yourself a engine lift bar like this https://www.harborfreight.com/1000-lb-capacity-engine-support-bar-96524.html This is the one I used. Also, get your self that special tool to remove and replace the stretch belt on the A/C compressor, you'll save yourself hours if not days of aggravation. If you can get the A/C comp out of the way, you'll won't have to pull the studs out on the passenger side and you can reuse them.
