Averaging 9l/100km around town. Drops below 7l/100km on the highway. Daily driver in Sports mode with 98 0ctane. Will be interesting to see how my planned mods impact.

Just picked mine up today and did 50kms in it and from a full tank, I'm already down to 2/3rds

Dealership probably only filled it with 91 octane - I'll burn through this tank and fill her up with some BP Ultimate.

Hopefully it improves

Welcome to a brand new Mustang!
Mine was doing ridiculous amounts of petrol consumption early on- from memory over 30L/100kms... and that with gentle break in driving.

It does change, but it's easy to keep it up there if you try :)

Has anyone tried to compare there computer fuel readings (the dash displays being posted here) to real data?

*Fill your tank and reset your trip meter.
*Drive a certain distance, doesn't really matter but more than 100km would probably be good.
*Refill your tank and take note of the amount of litres to refill your tank and take note of the amount kilometers on your trip meter,
*Now do the calculation and compare it to your computer reading.

For example, if you have covered 409km. and it has taken 59 litres to refill the tank,
the equation for litres per 100 km. should be 59 divided by 4.09, which will equal 14.4 litres per 100 km.
I did a trip last Saturday 99% highway driving, I covered 607km, 51 litres to refill, (59 litre tank in the EcoBoost) the dash displayed 8.2 litres per 100km. the real data is 8.401....
Which proves to me the dash display is not completely accurate on my car.

Then my Missus does her stint in the car and gets 7.7 litres per 100 :headbonk:
I must admit she is not as aggressive driving cars.

Has anyone else tried to compare their dash displays for accuracy?
Oh yes, the best I have ever seen on mine with dash display is 5.9L/100k, it read this about 0.5km down the road from a servo after filling up, it then starts to climb up :)
