Good afternoon y’all. I’m trying to get an idea on which one will net me more horses. Two different tuners. One specialize on sct and the other is hp. ID 1050x, VMP Bap, SCT X4, and dyno or LTH, catted midpipe, and pulley down. I can also add the pulley down with the first option. I would like to keep the car quiet as much as possible though and that’s the goal really. Also, the first option leaves me E85 in the future. Thanks.

It already looks like your leaning a lot towards the first option.. Pulley down with first option would be ready for some e85

I really like the first option. I did talked to the 2nd tuner about the first option and he came back with the 2nd option. I understood the airflow, but doI really sacrificing a lot of hp? I had exhaust systems with all of my prior Mustangs.

I'd recommend doing fuel upgrades first before adding power, just so that you don't spend any time on the edge of your fueling capabilities.

Yet here I am with my 1050x and dual pump setup pushing 1000whp lol.

Whatsup did remind me to be very careful if I pulley down and put the car on the edge because of fuel starvation. I do want to pulley down and that’s the quickest way to make a few horses.

From personal experience, Terminator #2 had a Whipple 2.3 w/ 3" upper pulley, single blade throttle, stock exhaust manifolds, cats and Magnaflow street cat back exhaust. Bro in law's Terminator had that plus Kook's headers and IDK, cat delete, and God only knows what exhaust from the headers back. I could literally hear him more than a mile away in city traffic coming to the house. Both cars had the same JDM tune. He dyno'd 612 to the tires. Mine did 610. Draw your own conclusions.

I'd do Fuel. If you're messing around with E85, I'd do return system. Take out the possibility that your engine will starve, and make the power reliably. A good tuner can find you power in those mods IMO.

Also if you already don't have upgraded injectors over stock, or maybe even you should be looking at that.

What kit are you running

I’m running the P1X, 52 lbs injectors and stock pump. Tuner 1 is a Mustang specialist too.

Ok. Definitely fuel. Stock pump no bap and u want more power and/or e85? This is a no brainer. Fix fuel first. A budget return is gonna cost the same as headers, a fore system with cost the same as high end headers.

Decide if ur gonna run e85 as well before u buy.

210Performance from San Antonio TX said to do the 1050x injectors and VMP bap so if I go E85 one day, I’ll just buy that fore or sai kit and continue.

Well... don't buy a BAP if you're only going to for sure run E85. If you stick to 93, (I used to lived in TX) you can make the same due with a DW400 and a BAP if your really running going to tax your system. Some tuners will tune this combo for E85.

Sai/Hellhorse etc kits use GT350 pumps in a modified hat/basket to accept a return. They are good for about 1000 HP as advertised, I don't know if this is E85 or 93. You're probably going to need rails too if you are still on stock rails.

You could probably piece a system together with the help of your tuner and "STAGE" your fuel system until you go complete return. I personally would use the radium basket because it retains the stock fuel level sender, and then piece out the return system like that.

In the end it comes down to your budget and what your goals are. E85 is the best way to make power because of the increased octane but it comes at a cost of needing 30-40% more fuel flow which is why the 1050X are a good choice here. Since you're not on DI system (2017 Mustang?) you'll need to know if you do not indeed need more fuel and/or injector for your goal

@SSG 5.0, next time you're at 210 Performance, pass along regards to Chris from the old geezer with the Redfire '03 Terminator convertible. He did some work on it for me - water pump and AC compressor. Would love to have him work on the '16, but we moved to Florida.
