Fuel nozzle head

I've noticed that recently after filling up it's becoming harder and harder to pull the nozzle head out. Today it took quite a lot of pulling and I did wonder for a minute whether it's truly stuck. Before you asked - it was the correct unleaded one... Is this normal?

Yeah, if you shove it in too far it can be a bitch to get back out. You'll only do it once though.

Yup - it can be an awkward little bugger can't it? It needs to go far enough in to make sure both "doors" are fully opened, but not so far that it gets lodged.

It's a really cool look, strugglihg with disengaging the nozzle; it seems to go in quite easily but doesn't come out so well. I think that a lot of nozzles have "notches" on them so you can "rest" the nozzle in the filler hole, but they must get stuck on the door flaps they use.

So much for the "easy fuel" capless system; I would still prefer a proper locking cover.

Only trouble I have had is if you put the pump in too far it pumps horrifically slow, easy fill it is not

That explains why i'm stood there filling up for 10 minute then, although, when i dont put it in far enough, it just flops petrol out the end :lol:
