Front Spoiler Protection

Question for you HP owners. Besides the obvious such as being careful and 45 degree approaches are there any ideas or solutions out there to protect the front spoiler? I’m going to Xpel the front - can that also go on the spoiler and would that be a solution? Thanks

Not sure if xpel will hold on that type of surface. The splitter is so low I don’t think it would make much difference anyway. My plan is to just buy an extra splitter or two to put away for the future and accept that the underside you can’t see will inevitably get scuffed up. I do wish there was a front facing camera to assist with parking. my Audi has this and it makes pulling up to curbs very easy with a lowered front end. Would be very valuable on the Mach 1 HP.

I spent $500 on Brijit's for my driveway in anticipation of this. I have a driveway hump that my lowered 17 GT never scraped on without them but I wanted to take precaution with the Mach 1 so I have them in place now. My GT's front spoiler was in pretty good shape after 4 years. I smoothed out one corner that was lightly scuffed but I fully expect the Mach 1 to not have issues with the handling pack spoiler either.

What Atlas mentioned is a good idea. I may even get a backup set of Mach 1 graphics for the hood if I end up putting PPF over it instead of around it depending on what the shops around here recommend. You definitely cannot put PPF on the plastic spoiler pieces. If it was a different material like a carbon fiber spoiler or something glossy, it would adhere.

Thanks for your input. I think I need to find a more portable solution for my driveway as the HOA is strict re ramps. The issue is the high curb at street level.

I have the ultimate protection for mine, It is still in wrappers in the garage. It can't get get damaged in any way there! After having many cars that I had to be so careful with I just decided to leave it off on mine since it is an option. I actually prefer the cleaner look without it, and it is nice to not have to be so careful!
