Has anyone bought and installed this splitter from MRT?

I like the APR splitter but dont have any other carbon fiber on my car. Want the rod set up though. I also see that Steeda sells one as well. Any comments or photos with what everyone has would be great. Just trying to tie the theme all together on how my build is going. Have the RTR rear diffuser to put on and may put on the RTR side splitters. Thanks.

I think the shape of the APR is the best of them all. Steeda's is too round for me. The MRT one looks pretty good in my opinion. You may want to wait to see what MMD's production chin spoiler ends up looking like before you make a final decision. It'll probably look pretty good.

I had the same feelings toward the APR since I didn't have any Carbon on my car. I looked around but I favor the curvy design of the APR splitter versus most that just have a half moon design. I figured if I didn't like the carbon I'd have it wrapped lol. Not sure if that'll work but I figured I'd give it a shot.

Yeah i'm curious what else is out there if being wanting to do the APR front and rtr rear and sides to pull it all together but don't really want to do the whole CF theme, did that on my last car. I've thought of plastidiping the splitter if i get it but seems like a sin to do that to CF.

Also does any one know if running without the support rods. Wish they were black by default

I think the APR carbon splitter would look so good on your car.

I like the looks of the MET one. Does anyone know if it can be used with a PP GT splitter?

I'd like to use it with black supports. Anyone know where I can source those?

I'm guessing you were asking if you can run the splitter without the rods? If so, then yes, you don't need the rods run this splitter. I'm 80% set on not using my rods.

I think the APR carbon splitter would look so good on your car.
Haha thanks man!

Yea that's what i meant to post, is if you could run without the rods, if they were necessary.

Don't plan on doing and mods till spring, just went nuts with suspension stuff. But def if you run with out the rods post pics and reviews. Not sure how it attaches and if it would drag down.

Powdercoat, paint or plasti-dip them black. Thats what Iam going to do. The center part of the rods. Not sure which way yet

Post which way you do I wonder if it could be anodized as I would think powder coat would strip when you install the nuts

agreed, and i wish apr would also do side skirts to tie the sides together, similar to the rtr but more like the thin profile as splitter
