I wasn't getting anything in my search results but I'm pretty sure someone has modified that dust cap so it doesn't stick out so far.
I'm interested in getting it down about 6-7 mm so I can clear my wheel center cap without a spacer. The material appears to be pretty thin and was easy to tap in at the tip.
