Has anyone found a method to secure the front bumper cover after breaking the tab that holds it to the fender?

I have a feeling more than a few of us have broken it getting this damn thing off.

I thought maybe 3M tape would work but I can't get it to stick.

I have some 3M plastic velro from home depot that I've been wanting to try when it gets warm out. I'm almost positive it would work lol

That's not a bad idea, but for me it seems the issue is getting the tape side to stick to the fender and then the other side to stick to the bumper...it's a weird sized surface.

Oh yea I forgot to mention I also have so JB weld from home depot that I would use to stick the Velcro on there

Good find, but no way in hell mine would end up looking like that.

Also, our tabs are much much smaller.

Happened to me. I used some super glue from permatex. Has held for 8 months so far.

Sort of what I'm leaning towards. If I can find a magnetic takeoff for under $400, I'm buying it. Also have a little bit of curb damage on the same side as the broken tab also rock chips from the commute I had when I got the car I-95 is no fun...It's pretty much gotta be replaced, but I'm being stingy.
