Is there anything I can do aside from removing the grill or anything major? I don't mind a little cutting just don't want it to be noticeable if I do decide to sell in the future.

dremel some holes in the grill, IDK if Velossa Tech makes big mouths for an '18 or not.

What made you think you need more airflow?

Why do you need more airflow? Unless your doing some massive mods, car is designed to get all the air she needs.

FYI: Ford changed the grill on the 2019 GT350 to have less airflow. Seems the car is faster with less air being forced thru the engine compartment.

Does anyone know if opening the grill makes performance better or worse on a GT?

Too much air into the engine compartment can cause unnecessary lift which can be an issue at high speed cornering.

Does that connect with the factory intake or is that aftermarket as well?

I’d agree, TopGear did an episode in the US and they tapped off the entire front of a Challenger to achieve their top speed goal. Look at NASCAR, less front end opening has better down force and drag = better fuel mileage.

OP, I made a post a while ago to someone who was trying to compare GT350R replica wings and what type of downforce vs drag was going to be applied. His reference? NASCAR wing aero models. :frusty:

Here's the thing, do NOT fiddle with factory aero unless you have a damn good reason to.

What airflow are you trying to achieve?

Have you taken your car to the track?

Are you overheating? As in ACTUALLY overheating as in limp fvcking mode. Not what you in your psycho summersalts think is overheating, actual overheating where the computer says "nope, we're done."

Are you making ports for something custom? Does said custom designer know what they're doing?

Engineers, especially dynamics engineers are not stupid people. Okay, I guess except for C7Z06 thermal management engineers. BUT...point being, what do you really think you're going to get out of this and is a hack job worth it to disrupt your OEM fit and finish, which you are clearly concerned about otherwise you wouldn't have mentioned it.

Proceed with extreme caution...
