As I'm sure many people have already had this issue, is there a good way to fix the side bumper clips? I took my front bumper off and even with carefully taking it off and putting back on 2 of the clips bent or broke and now the bumper wont snap on right.

Any suggestions / has anyone found a fix to this?

Don't really want to have to buy a new bumper in order to fix this

J-B Weld is the only real way to fix the broken clips. You'll either need a new bumper, or quick latch system.

repeated post gets a repeated answer........

If you have the pieces, you can plastic epoxy them and put it back together.
I did this on mine after 2 of the rectangular clips broke.

another option some have used are the quick latches.

I just removed my front fascia, followed a couple of online how-tos, including a really good one from LMR.

So all the examples show just pulling on that area, with some force, but not jerking it too hard. Well, driver's side snapped out as expected, passenger was way more "locked", snapped off the tabs.

I used a small flatblade to remove the tabs from the connector. Then I used automotive Goop, reattached them - it has a tiny amount of flex, and really fills in cracks. I kind of applied it heavy at the base, you know, to make more of a connection point (but not so much it would interfere with going back in).

Anyway, did my mod (removed upper grills, added Velossa intakes), put everything back together, and honestly I was a little surprised, but the broken side snapped right back into place, perfectly lined up!

I used a little lube on the tabs so they'd slip back in with less resistance. I also kind of pried open the receiving connector a little.

Big FYI: when removing these tabs, I think vs. the suggestion on multiple sites just to pull them, it would be better to take something like a butter knife, pull down on the that section of the fascia a little and use the knife to open up the clips. The other method relies on the clips releasing before the tab breaks, and the tabs are pretty delicate, and the clips are inconsistent in terms of how locked down they are.

Real interested in these, they look solid, they're available in black, seems like it fixes a real weak spot in the front fascia design.

I'm assuming mine will come off again at some point, for some other mod, and that it might break again, so having that resolved in advance would be _sweet_.

this has happened to mine, the clips have snapped by the fender
this quick latch system, how would that work? it's only a very small gap
also thinking about just using the JB Weld which has been mentioned
only issue with that, if I ever needed to take the front off, then what
I don't want to have to buy a new front, for just a little gap, if the worst comes to the worst, will just glue
any advice please,
