Friction modifier?

I put Redline 75W-85 in my diff. Anyone else here using it? Is there any need for friction modifier? I keep hearing a new creaking noise from the rear during slow turns, and thought the diff might be the culprit. Redline says no need for modifier.
Thoughts?

If your car calls for it, it should be in there. Some aftermarket products like BG already have it mixed in; not sure and lean towards the doubt side of Redline.
