Thanks, I actually got them on Amazon from RedLine directly. They shipped overnight for only 3.99 since Im a prime member so I did that lol


CAI sounds okay I guess haha dont really hear it over my exhaust but you can hear the throttle body blade opening and closing.

thats awesome dude, i just installed mine like 3 days ago as well. After the install did u notice the hood alignment move slightly?

Because you do not loosen both the hinge bolts on each side, the hood alignment will not change.

Redline hood strut modification...

I was the member that mentioned that I had used a Dremel tool to cut a fine line from the 'strut pin' hole over to the edge of the battery cover.
I want to add a caution. If you want to be able to completely remove the cover, the cut you make should NOT run directly to the cover edge. The cover has three tabs on the firewall side, if you do a perpendicular cut you will still not be able to remove the cover because you won't be able to pull the cover far forward enough to clear the tabs.
Make your cut at a 45 degree angle from the strut hole you drilled out toward the rear. This will allow you to slip the cover toward the engine center while also pulling the tabs out of their sockets. You can then freely remove and install the cover.
