Forscan using obdlink ex and wont show ms can as built data

We really should just make a thread for common upgrades. And make sure info is correct. Theirs the sync 3 thread but most of the forscan info is flat out wrong and bad info. We need to make one for common stuff like cluster, sync 3 etc.

For sure needs to be one of the most codes to change when doing the cluster swap.
Breeves thread is great and most of it is in that spread sheet on the first page but there still a few things that might not be in it.

What module do I change this in I tried in IPC and it tells me no changes in block 7, skipped

You can add or remove a ton of extra information and temp gauges from the gauges menu. You also unlock new drive modes and for mine i also got launch control. Again, pm me with any questions and I can pull up my data if needed

So do you know how you were able to get the new drive modes? I am stuck where it says drive mode selection not available. I was able to get everything else set right besides that and the exhuast mode selection not available. But if you know how you did either or that would really help me haha thanks! And ya I have the high beam issue but it's not that bad lol

I have a 2020 Mustang GT base model with the performance upgrades done to it and an after market exhaust flow master. The center screen is a sync 3 and I’m unable to access the drive modes. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hey sorry I stopped really using the forum for awhile since my posts never got any replies lol. I don't recall exactly what I did but I found everything I needed on here. There is a sync 3 mwga thread but the info is ehh, but there's several smaller threads mentioning stuff about this as well. Did you check the modules to see if drive modes were an easy on/off instead of the asbuilt?

Ya I’ve also been inactive, just been working a lot. I also have the same issue with my drive modes not working. After talking with some of the guys on the forum they said that I should be able to even get an extra drive mode!! But I don’t remember it being a simple as built change. But right now none of mine work. If you figure it out please share. Now I have to look into this again haha. Looks like that’s what I’ll be doing this weekend. As well as my cruise control broke and doesn’t work anymore and my high beam/brights don’t work they don’t stay on I have to hold the stick, idk im pretty new with the forscan still

Yeah the high beam thing is a common issue and the fix wasn't hard just a lkme change but I forget which. Honestly the best bet is to dig into the forums for the sync 3 and mess around with some of the provided changes (ALWAYS TAKE A PICTURE BEFORE CHANGING ANYTHING) Incase something goes wrong you know what you changed and what it should be reversed to because almost every car even for the same module has a different set of numbers. The changes usually involve 1 number out of like 12 or whatever it is for each line usually a mix of letter and numbers depending on module
