Personally I think why not go wider pricing only varies slightly from the 10 to the 10.5 or 11 for the rear.

Going wider is why I went with the Forgestars. They also seem to be the cheapest wheels you can get in wide sizes. Sure, there are many similar spoke patterns out there for 1/2 or 1/3 the price, but an 8" wheel isn't for me. The only thing I may regret about my Forgestars coming from N4SM in the next few weeks is not going wide enough up front. I think I've waiting on 20x9 but it seems many people are fitting a bit wider up there.

10" up front seems to be the go to size.

10", 10.5", and 11" seem to be the go to sizes for the rear.

Come on brotha your setup is going to be sweet !

9.5 is a very viable option as well.

I am going to be running 19x10 and 19x11. I will be running Nitto NT05's. 275/35/19 up front and 305/35/19 out back.

why has no one mentioned that forge stars are higher quality than a cast wheel? i dont really like their limited face choices but yeah forgestars are rotary forged.

I'm happy with the 19x9.5 & 19x11 with the 275/35r19 ft 305/35r19 rear.

Anyone know the weight savings over the PP wheels?

I agree. I was actually going to do a square setup of 9.5" wheels to save some money on rubber.

It seems many people are going right to 10" up front.

The weight has been posted here somewhere. 24-26lbs IIRC. Which is about 6-8lbs saving per wheel.

Factory PP wheels are 32 lbs each without tire I believe and i weighed in our 20x11 F14 for a S550 member at 27.4 lbs no tire on it so you shed some serious weight while upping the diameter and width at the same time.

 Yea, I have 20x11 for the rears coming. I already changed my order once, but that was the day after I placed it almost a month ago. I'd be willing to bet they are already made. Oh well, I'm sure Paul will respond to this thread again, soon. hah.

Not the end of the world I guess. I don't even remember if it was 9 or 9.5 up front for me.

Correct. The rear 9.5" PP wheel is 33lbs.

I have 20x9 fronts and they're fine, why do you want so much contact in the front? It'll just make the handling worse, 20x9 on 255 rubber is perfect up front, you made the right choice, biggest is not always best.

I have 20x11 rears too and those are sexy, sucks the 20x9 are semi concave, they look kind of stupid so flat and the rear pretty concave at some angles lol

Narrow tire up front will make the car understeer more (which the car already does enough of from the factory). Wider tire up front will make the car more neutral.

In no way would a wider tire up front make the car handle worse. It may make the car tramline a bit more, but it is going to do that regardless.
