So I've been through a few different exhaust setups.
First was Roush axle back. Not bad, but wanted a hair louder.
Roush axle back with x-pipe. A bit too harsh of a tone and too loud to daily drive, and if I wanted to add headers, it would be too much for me.
Ford racing touring axle back with x-pipe. Much better, but I'm starting to look for something else. From the limited sound clips I've found of the FRPP touring with headers, they don't sound all that great to me, a bit too tinny.
So I am looking for an axle back to swap out the FRPP touring with. Looking at the Borla S-Type. All the videos I've found, they sound great with an x-pipe and also with headers too. They also sound much deeper than my touring setup.
Has anyone had a chance to hear the two in person to compare? Youtube videos don't do much justice. I am looking to keep the x pipe and replace the axle back with something that will be much deeper and smoother while also sounding great if/when I decide to add long tubes.
