I'm considering swapping my current s-type AB for my GT to the Ford Performance by Borla touring CB. This is the exhaust that I'm interested in: http://www.americanmuscle.com/frpp-touring-catback-black-2015gt.html

Overall I'm pretty satisfied with my Borla s-type ABs so I'll probably stick with Borla if I switch exhausts. However, I'm looking to add just slightly more sound than my s-type AB with just a little bit of rasp and a deep tone.

I'm hesitating to just add an X-pipe with my s-type instead, because I think it will be too loud (volume).

What do guys you think? Will I be happier with the FP Borla Touring CB?

That's the exact exhaust I've had for 2 years now. I love it but can't compare to what you have now. It's very well made and fit perfectly. It became a bit louder last week when I added the Ford Performance Power Pack 2. It is a little raspy at times but no drone and pleasant on the highway.

So the only difference between borla touring and borla s-type in the resonator with the touring and the x pipe with the s-type.

The mufflers are the same.

Have you thought about just doing the borla resonator to end up with the borla touring catback (basically).

I would just have a hard time purchasing the whole catback again after already having the mufflers.

The FRPP by Borla touring does not have a resonator....just an X pipe. It's different than Borla's own touring setup.

True, I just don't think there is much difference between the mufflers.

However i don't know for sure, never heard or seen anyone with the frpp ones that ran the resonator from borla, but the s-type does sound similar to the frpp sport.

S-type is slightly deeper and slightly louder than the FRPP sport.
