never bothered me..My 2015 that i bought back in march 2015 had no dimple at all. You haven't seen enough.
That's great, except I have talked to ford racing and they have admitted that the dimple is an injection molding flaw. Is LMR the company who manufactures this product? No. Therefore their anecdote on the matter is void. No other vendor claims the dimples are normal. The alignment holes for the various emblems are on the back of the panel, the dimples do not line up with these holes. Do you really believe the expensive equipment ford engineered for these panels needs a dimple to know where to drill? I guess a power pack trunk should have dimples, since they need to know where to put the spoiler on the other cars.never bothered me..

"Note
- Since this item was cast with the intention of having an emblem attached to in, there will be small alignment divots cast into the plastic. These divots were cast into the plastic as a guide for drilling the plastic to mount the emblems. These divots are very small but might be visible from up close."

Sorry, I'm not trying to sound angry. I guess given the time that has passed people kinda expected that the issue would be fixed, or that the panel would come with a very small dimple and not a ton of scratches too. I just feel like for a company as big as ford this would be an easy fix.just seems weird that they've had this notation for well over a year and people are somehow just now complaining about it. don't shoot a commenter. :-(
