Lol that guy is amazing and nailed that rotary !!!! I was hoping for a better sound i know all about the top end of this engine running out of steam ........ Time for a head and bigger turbo.

Stock cam does well in most turbo engines as long as rpm range is not extended much .

The other thing with this type valvetrain , your limited to what you can do lift wise . you have cam lobe right over bucket so lift can only get so big as valve/spring length limit you , plus you'd probably need deeper valve notches in piston tops too .
You generally don't need a lot of duration/overlap with forced induction .

the reason you get the "aggressive sound" when you change the cam on say a pushrod V8 is because you increased the overlap, and the overlap is fixed by the cam grind. On an engine like the Ecoboost, the overlap is mostly determined by the variable valve timing system. The cam centerlines are so far apart that mild increase in duration doesn't increase overlap.
