If you have a U Haul store nearby, they have many different size boxes. I just did a quick look and they have baby crib box measuring:
  • Box Dimensions: 28-1/4” x 5-1/4” x 52-3/4”
Just cut it down to save on shipping.

go to home depot and buy some of the foam water pipe insulation sticks. they look like a pool noodle toy. slip them over the bar and tape it. slap a label on it and give it to the post office 😎

Check out greyhound for shipping. The bus company. They ship freight stuff at the bottom of their busses and i found it to be the most economical way to ship out wheels if the locations work out.
