They shouldn't be needed on a stock Coyote, but curious if you notice any improvement :).

Yes not an upgrade for power but efficiency... Smoother idle, better throttle response, and I swear a louder exhaust note... Again not drastic but slightly noticable louder exhaust note... All this upgrade does is have a more complete combustion cycle... It was not difficult; you do have to remove the connectors that connect to each coil and use the connectors provided... Did not notice MPG benefits yet, was in traffic when I took it out for a spin...

Efficiency, yes. However the difference you may notice now may just be the new plugs. ? The coils should make a difference no matter how slight. It would take a bit for the KAM to adapt to the coils for the MPG to change and become stable. I'm sure in the long run it's a stable mod. I'm just not crazy about the connector change. I know some cylinders had to be difficult.

I did plugs first two weeks ago. So definitely the coils. I was not crazy about connector either but look at PDF it ended up being not bad at all... They give you extra connectors. But yes you are bent over a while in tight places because only 3 inch slack on the wire to connectors. I change the easiest one first to make sure I get the hang of it, then did the hardiest ones to reach in the back. The regular coils people run boosted and get into the 8's. Is it necessary; not really. They are built to withstand more heat and provide hotter spark and perfect with iridium plugs. Did not think about vehicle relearning but make sense thank you!

Glad to hear it wasn't plugs that made the difference. Do the OEM coil covers fit after the new coil install?

3.31 gears @ 45mph yielded 33.1 mpg during a 30 min run non stop. Will test 75mph on interstate soon.

My last 1000 mile average is 20.5 MPG. I have 3.73s though. In 6th gear I'm at 1325 rpm at 45 MPH, but I'm mixed driving about 20 miles a day. I'm at speeds between 35 and 70 but never cruising for long. Traffic...

So was the reason you had to replace the connectors was since your car was before the built date it states? I Have a 2015 5.0 and wanted to get these? What do you think? Qould I be able to or no? Since it's not from theafter 2016 date?

you can't as it is only for the dates mid 2016 to 2017... I believe it is something with a coil pack shape closest to firewall on passenger side... The connectors are not compatible between the 5.0 coil packs and 5.2 coil packs on GT500; that is why you have to swap them out...
