Hey folks,
Did a search and nothing came up.
Has anyone used the Ford Owner app for ios or Android with their GT350? The sales pitch states all sorts of info can be had through the app when connected through sync 3 including Vehicle Health Alerts. From the Ford website:
Vehicle Health Alert notifications
Any available VHA notifications will be displayed on your mobile device after you stop your vehicle. VHA provides you with notifications about your vehicle’s oil life, so you can schedule an oil change with your preferred Ford dealer. You’ll also receive alerts when low tire or oil pressure is detected, if your engine starts to overheat, and other potential faults with the following systems:
Restraints and driver assistance
Engine, transmission, and emissions
Checks, fluids, and filters
Brakes and suspension
Alerts will be displayed based on the level of severity (low, medium, and high). Anytime you see an alert, you will be presented an option to call Roadside Assistance or a Ford dealer for support. Depending on the issue, you may also be provided information on what could be causing the problem, safety concerns you should be aware of, and steps you can take to resolve the issue. These are just a few ways in which VHA can help you make informed service decisions and maintain your vehicle’s health.
*Initially available with 2016 Edge, Expedition, F-150, Fiesta, Flex, Mustang, and Taurus vehicles. Other vehicle availability will be announced at a later date. Ford Owner mobile app is available through a free download through the App Store® and Google Play™. Message and data rates may apply.
Reviews of the app (at least on the Apple site) are all over the place. Of course, limp mode applicability comes to mind...
