My dealer sent me this link which enables you to customise how you would like your car set up at the time of delivery (radio station presets, gauge colour etc.) and also what you would like demonstrated.

There is also an area which allows you to insert specific instructions to the dealer regarding your delivery (e.g. do not install those abominable number plate brackets).

Might be useful to some.

Link worked fine, and I got all the way to the end, and for some reason couldn't submit final check code or hit submit on iPhone or iPad. Was able to save progress so will try on my laptop when I go to work tomorrow.

That's pretty cool. Fortunately for me, I worked at the dealership I got mine, and I did the pre delivery on mine and everything. I got paid to set mine up [emoji13]

Same thing happened to me as well , no go on the submit button !!

I've emailed Ford Customer Service to report the :doh:.

• No number plate brackets (will fit Lakin's myself at the dealer);
• No customer/tyre kicker arses in my car;
• No machine polishing (request from detailer).

This is just a back up as I have made these requests already by email and over the phone to my dealer.

Drew, I would also try the old "threaten them with death" trick. Works for me ;)

Not keen to add homicidal maniac to that perception!

I also added "Please no dealer stickers, or visible stickers of any kind other than a service date sticker on the windshield."

Good idea.

I've also asked that the window sticker be carefully removed and retained.
