As an extension of these two threads, it would be really cool if Ford could update MyKey to include RPM limits, such as 3000 RPM. Anyone know the best way to contact Ford and submit such a request? I suspect this is a software update that would be relatively trivial to implement and make available.

I have always wished they would have included RPM limit. Maybe a call to Ford headquarters???

Include RPM and throttle response and as well as not being able to use any sport mode and turning off traction control.

When I had my GTI tuned, I had four tunes on the car:
Stock-ish
Stage 1 91oct
Stage 1 93oct
Valet

The valet mode limited the power to something like 50hp.

Maybe some of the guys making tunes would be make one with limited power, that you would upload just for days like this where you're leaving the car in someone else's care. Might or might not be worth their time, but it can't hurt to ask. Then swap back to your normal tune after you pick up the car.

Could be a good option until Ford gives us something better.

I didn't think about aftermarket tune, but that has potential. Dial the engine back to say a Ford Focus, 150hp and 3000 RPM. If it was fairly easy to put on and take off, I would do that every time my car needed service.

Just did a brief google, and bumped into SCT X4 tunes, advertising a Rev Limiter and a Speed Limiter. Anyone bought this? How about alternatives / competitors?

Actually a Rev Limiter would be cool to run all the time, as I am supposed to be doing a break-in and I want to keep the engine < 4000 RPM.

Is the MyKey feature only available on Premium Mustangs or all models? I have a '16 GT PP, but I don't think I have MyKey. I could be wrong.

I've read some bad stuff online about MyKey.. I don't even want to touch those settings less I turn my master key into some slave key that makes my car run like crap then I have to go to the dealer to get it fixed Lol.. F that.

I would like a Valet key FOB tho.. I know MyKey let's you limit the speed to 80mph which in my opinion is too damn high, also like you guys said I'd like the revs limited, TC always on and no Boost!

Like the soup nazi used to say, No Boost For you!

It ruins the flavor of the car, though luckily, all I had to do was use my spare key to remove it

NO Track apps, no track mod, it shoots up to the tallest gear, its just feels more restrained, like a teenager having to drive his parents somewhere

We've got it in our '12 Flex. My wife tried fiddling with it and it ended up screwing up her Sync settings. Who know for sure???

I've also got it on my base EB. Never bothered with it. One of your key fobs has a key attached to it from the dealer.
