I hear you, but this is not a new car show, it’s SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association for those who do not know). The Mustang is the worlds #1 modified car. It could have been represented as a Ford icon.

I guarantee you it will be next year. Also keep in mind most of the big builds you see at SEMA aren’t from the manufacturer. They are done by big shops in the industry that partner with the manufacturer to showcase products. There’s nothing new to showcase for the S550. And no company in their right mind is developing new products to showcase for a model that is dead in 12 months.
The S650 platform will be all the rage next year, just like the S550 was in the 2015 SEMA show.

This makes sense as they have released many special edition vehicles for the last model year ever of ICE Challenger/Charger.

Maybe so but the cars they really wanted to be there, the "Grand Finale" cars, were a no-show because the engine they are working on keeps blowing up.
