So after 8 months of dealing with the seat issue and the dealer damaging my car in the process Ford finally approved the buyback. The car sat at the dealer for a total of 72 days. Aside from the dealer not fixing the main issue, they manage to chip the paint on the passenger door, then when they fixed that they didn't put the trim around the window correctly so when the service manager tried putting it back in place he bent it so a new one was ordered. Car went back to the body shop so they could correct that but in that process they but a deep scratch on the passenger mirror cap and very deep paint chips and scratches on the A Pillar, they again fixed that but when I got the car back it sounds like they left something inside the passenger side speaker or they damaged it because it sound disgusting even when the volume level is a 3, so now I cant even listen to the radio. I had my doubts on getting another Ford vehicle but after some thinking and looking around there's no other car that comes up close to the Mustang and if they do they are impossible to get or extremely expressive, so I finally decided to pick up another Mustang. I don't know if it will be a 2020 or 2021, I honestly cant be without a car for long so if I'm able to find a 2020 with everything my car had then I will pick that up if not I guess I will be renting cars until my specs Mustang arrives. I am sad to let this car go but since the dealer was not able to fix it but also cause damage I know it will be the best thing to just let it go.
