People put lots of things on their cars that are only cosmetic and that includes the factory. Besides scoops there are, splitters, spoilers, diffusers, side skirts, even the extractors on the GT.

Definitely has potential, again would want to see it in person & on that car before plunking down the $$. Wonder what it looks like from inside the car. Parts list refers to driver & pass side "scoop inserts", not sure if that for the front or rear of the unit.

The inserts go in the front. Makes the opening appear to be mesh.

Probably, but I don't know how much I'd trust tape alone. The Ford hood scoop goes on with tape alone I believe.
