Has anyone put the axleback version of Flowmaster American Thunder in their EcoBoost? Any sound clips? History of drone? I think the Outlaw version might be a bit much, but considering the Thunder version. Thanks in advance.

It will for sure a more mellow tone with the resonator and more of a muffler, only problem is installing it. You have to cut your stock exhaust pipes to install the Thunders. If you can do it yourself, go for it, but if you take it to a shop you might as well get a cat back that had a more mellow tone for around the same price.

Not a bad price for the American thunder cat back. I would go that route, actualky that's what I want to do myself

Personally I would go with the catback unless there's some reason you have to get the axle back.

No need for cuts, straight bolt-on.

If you check amazon they occasionally go on sale for the same price of the axlebacks $459. I'd check it out.

It has jumped to sale several times, this is certainly the better route IMO

Love mine! I get a lot of compliments and thumbs up, hell, I don't even know if they know its a 4 banger. lol If it id too loud for your tastes, you can always add a resonator to mellow it down.
