I'm really thinking about pulling the trigger on the flowmaster outlaw series Axleback. The price is amazing for the sound it produces. The only thing is, do you guys think an Axleback is worth it? Or should I just put that money into a more free flowing catback. I'm thinking about getting the mishimoto dp also.

Catless Downpipe first...rest of the exhaust you can do later after you get some other mods like a new intercooler and a good tune from a reputable company.

I want to do a Catless downpipe but isn't that illegal for street use? I wouldn't want to have to go through the hassle when emissions rolls around lol

I'm not sure how much performance downpipes with high flow cats provide over stock or even if it's worth the money.

Adam from Tune + recommended doing a full catback exhaust before a downpipe due to the fact that you're going to pick up nearly the same power with both but you're losing a good amount of weight going from the stock catback to an aftermarket setup.

All you have to do is get a catch can and delete the pcv and no more smoke! I saw Adam make that recommendation after I had already bought my dp so it is what it is. I'm holding out for a certain single exhaust hitting the market soon anyhow.

The developer is on this forum, I'll see if he wants to spill the beans. If not, the wait won't be long from what I heard.

I can sell you the FlowMaster Catback for the price you'd pay for the axle back. Check the link in my signature.

Go with Edwins cat back. The axel back needs to be cut to be installed. The cat back bolts right on, saving you time and money.
