Well I have a steeda cai and a mbrp catback. No tune yet. Wanted to run it before I get a 93 octane Lund tune. (6 speed manual, 3.55 gears, stock 235 all season tires). Also my first time racing a manual down the 1/4 mile.

My best run was 13.148 @ 112.15 mph. This was at atco. Temperature today was surprisingly hot at about 80 degrees Fahrenheit My 60ft sucked at 2.166. Really wanted to get into the 12's:mad:.

Will go back in the spring when I have a tune and I contact steeda to help take care of the wheel hop.

You picked a bad day to go. Go back next Tuesday. When the DA will be -1200 instead of positive 1500. You'll be 3/10s and at least a MPH faster.

You are not alone my friend. My best run was 13.1 @ 109mph. Every time I had decent launch torque management/clutch protection kicked in and killed all the power on 1st gear. It was such a weird feeling, like my car was hitting redline. After reading bunch forums and cry a little bit I went out and bought set of Hoosier 28/10/17 thinking that I wont have to slip clutch with them and would be able to avoid this issue. Well, answer is NO! Car launched hard at 5500-6000rpm but then torque management nazzi kicked in and killed all the fun again. It was very emabarssisng running 13.0 with slicks. I went home to cry some more.... So I emailed tuner (@tmcphail) at 12:30am in a morning asking him if he can turn TQ management/ clutch protection off. Received a response within 10 min confirmation that it can be done. So I bough FF tune right the way. This weekend I'm going to test & tune again and I better be hitting mid 12s.

Yea on my last run of the night the car totally killed power midway through 1st gear, and I had no idea wtf was happening. Because of this, I ran an awful 14.2 @ 110

Think I saw you out there that day and spoke to you for a bit! I had the Magnetic Metallic GT on Hoosiers. You were the only other 2015+ Stang on Hoosiers out there!

Yep, that was me! Hopefully problem is fix now with the tune and I'll be able to run somewhat decent times on slicks. Are you coming to drag strip this upcoming Sunday?

Depends on the DA that day. I find the torque management thing interesting, I've never had an issue with it.

Best run I ever did when the car was bone stock was a 12.9X on the factory Pirelli Summer Tires.
